GOD PROMOTES

When God set out to deliver the children of Israel from Egypt, it was to take them out of captivity and bondage and to lift them up. God has come to take you out of your current location in the miry clay to your promised land – a land flowing with milk and honey. This simply tells us that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the God of promotion. When He promotes you, nobody can demote you. Psalm 75:5-7 says promotion comes from God but He can decide to effect it through any medium. If you catch this revelation, your attitude to God, your boss and your work place will be redefined. If God is the One to promote you, you will not break your relationship with Him. Also, you will not have to compromise your faith in any way. The fear of being denied promotion has made many believers to switch from serving God to serving their boss. Never let any superior or boss rob you of your relationship with God!
God still promotes. There is no promotion that takes place without the knowledge of God. If he says your time for promotion has come; there is nothing anybody anywhere can do about it. This season, the Lord shall promote you. Moreover, when He is set to promote you, it does not matter where the enemies have kept you; you are coming out and going up! For instance, He can locate you in the miry clay and take you up according to Psalm 40:1-3. He can also go to the dunghill to pick you up from there and set you up among nobles and princes and nobody will be able to challenge you (1 Samuel 2:8). He can take you from any depth and lift you up to any height. He can lift you beyond any level any man can take you. When he decides to promote you, even the sky will be your starting point. This season, the Godhead is taking a decision to promote someone, to take the fellow from the depths to the heights. That fellow is you. Thankfully receive your promotion today!
KeyPoint
The only time your boss can sit on your promotion or entitlements successfully, is when God allows you to go through that situation as a trial of your faith, for a period.

Victim of comfort

Just as your attention can be arrested by certain things while undergoing a physical journey, so also can your attention be diverted while running the race to Heaven. One of such things that can divert heaven-bound citizens is prosperity. Prosperity can give you a lot of comfort which can affect your focus, reduce your consecration and play down your personal relationship with God. Prosperity can truncate one's journey to heaven if unchecked. One victim of this was Demas. 2 Timothy 4:10 says,
“For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.”
While other co-labours of Paul were travelling to different cities of the world for the work of the Gospel, Demas – a co-labourer of Paul, fell in love with the world to such an extent that he went back to Thessalonica having been taken captive by worldly pleasures and amusements. Is your prosperity gradually pushing you off the heavenly track? Control it now before it destroys your soul completely!
Many years ago, when all some of us had were two shirts, two trousers and one pair of shoes, we prayed, loved the Lord and served Him with all our hearts and strength. But today, it is a different ball game. For many who have now been blessed materially, it has become a herculean task to give even a quarter of our time and strength to God. Some find it extremely difficult to make sacrifices for God: everything now operates on how convenient it is. I remember when I called church members to join in a 100-day fast, those from low-income areas in Lagos such as Ajegunle, Mushin, etc., immediately received the announcement with joy, while on that same day when I went to make the same announcement in the high brow areas of Lagos – Ikoyi and Victoria Island, they were not happy to receive it, but thank God they joined. Is the comfort of your bed, store house and bank account now negatively affecting your fire? Watch it and adjust now before you become its victim.

SIMPLY GRACE

After identifying his problem, King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:4-13 refused to walk by sight but looked up to God in the face of threats. This was exactly what God wanted. 2 Corinthians 5:7 says,
“For we walk by faith, not by sight:”
Those who will be ready for God's use in these end times must be ready to walk by faith and not by sight. Our sense of sight is so limited. Sight sees and speaks only of what is available, but if you have to wait until certain resources are available, you may never achieve what God wants done. For instance, when God sent Elijah to the widow at Zarephath in 1 Kings 17:8-16, if she was to wait until she had enough before accepting to take in the man of God, she would never have obeyed God's Word, and would most probably have died during the famine. Many times, if we were to go by our physical weaknesses, we would never have been used by God to do the impossible.
The difference between what we have and what we need for the assignment is His grace. When God is sending you on an assignment, He knows your limitations before asking you to go. If He cannot make up the shortfall, He would not have sent you. How is it ever possible for one to chase a thousand and two to chase ten thousands if the sense of sight is applied? It is only grace! How can God pick up a notorious robber, clean him up and ask him to go and start preaching to people including those he once robbed? Sight will say: Never; but thank God for grace. How can God give that assignment to you, in spite of your low educational qualifications, whereas, by all reasonable standards, it is meant for professors? It could only have been possible by His grace. So trust His grace. His grace can fix the difference. Accept that task the Lord is giving to you because He had already prepared to cover up the difference. His grace will be sufficient for you.
PrayerPoint
Father, between what I have and what I need to do Your assignment, let Your grace cover up the difference.

Meekness

One of the outstanding qualities of the midwives in Exodus 1:15-21 is meekness. Many people usually misconstrue meekness for weakness but this is not so. To be meek is to be capable of doing a lot of damage but to refuse to use such powers for evil. Those midwives had the power to kill new born babies but they refused to use it. Matthew 5:5 says,

“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”

This tells us that if you are meek, you will attract material possessions in ways you cannot explain. That also means that if you usually use the power at your disposal to do evil and not show mercy, you will be repelling material things in ways that you cannot understand. No wonder the meekness of the midwives gave them households! In addition, meekness causes things on the earth to cooperate with the one who has it. Meekness is a show of mercy. The merciful obtains mercy and the way of the meek is clear. When the way to progress or prosperity is blocked for some people, they will begin to look for some external enemies, not knowing that it is their vengeful, highly retaliatory and unforgiving disposition that is causing it.

Every believer is a potential divine midwife and as such should be meek. When somebody is doing everything to pull you down, and you have information about the fellow that can bring him or her down, don't use it. Those who say: 'Before you bring me down I will clear you out of the way', are lacking in meekness. Is your senior pastor persecuting you? Are you seeking ways to get back at him or even to get him sacked? If you are, where is your meekness? A meek fellow does not have the terms: vengeance, unforgiving spirit, impatience with offenders, etc., in his or her dictionary. The meek fellow makes excuses for his or her offenders. Moses was the meekest of men in his days. Also when Stephen was being stoned to death, what did he say? He told the Lord not to record the event leading to his death because they did not know what they were doing. That was also what our Lord Jesus Christ did. That is meekness.

If you will not be meek because of the sacrifice it entails, be meek because of

SATAN VISITS ON PURPOSE

SATAN VISITS ON PURPOSE

Many people go through life without truly enjoying open doors. John 10:10 says,
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
This scripture tells us that if there is nothing to steal, never expect the devil. So if he ever shows up at all, ignore all the pretence: there is something that he is targeting. May Satan fail in every area he has made you his target in Jesus name. Satan is called different names by people. You can call him any name you like – a thief, destroyer, liar, etc. but never call him a fool because he is not. The little I have discovered is that the devil is aiming at one thing – to destroy your destiny. In getting his potential victim, he rarely uses frontal attack or brute force. But, if he does, there must be a special reason. Why do you think Satan decided to completely take over the man who became notoriously mad in Mark 5:1-20? It is because he could see that the man could become a great evangelist that would stop the kingdom of darkness. So before he stopped them, all the demons flooded into him in order to stop him. Why do you think he possessed the woman of Luke 8:1-3 with powerful demons? It is because he somehow got to know that she was meant to be a divine treasurer.
In the same vein, when he somehow foresaw that the woman of Samaria recorded in John 4 was going to be a vessel of honour to God, he kept on attacking her marriage. She went through five and was with a sixth man before her deliverance. There are ladies whose marriages have been on the line. They have found it difficult to settle down with a man. Some have committed suicide while others have been miserable and depressed. The Lord wants you to take courage and come to Him and He will help you to bear your burden and release your destiny. If the devil has been fighting serious battles in your life, it is because he has seen something great coming. In the name of Jesus, that great thing that the devil has seen in your life shall be made manifest.

EXPOSING THE CROOKED PATHS

According to John 3:19-21, the light of the Spirit not only exposes and destroys activities of the evil ones, but also manifests good deeds.
“But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
John 3:21
If you are living right and pleasing God, never be far from the light of the Spirit because it can put a seal of divine approval over your works. Such works will surely be rewarded by God. In other words, if you want to do the works that will not be burnt with fire on the last day, expose them to the light of the Spirit as contained in the word of God. Any work you do that tallies with the dictates of God's word will not go unrewarded. When your good works are approved by the light of the Spirit, you may receive divine advertisement.
Moreover, the light or fire of the Spirit not only exposes the serpent, but also kills it. A man realised he was just swelling up. Everywhere he went for healing, he could not find the cause of the problem. So one day, he went to a man of God for prayer and was told he had restitution to make. On further probing, the man told the man of God that his wife died during child birth, and that the product of that delivery was a baby girl. The man grew to love her so much because she looked every inch like her mother. Eventually, when she grew older and got married, her husband began to beat her so the father took her away and hated the young son-in-law. By the time he came for prayers, the light of God by the Spirit of God revealed it and said that if he does not forgive, he will not be healed. Initially, he was reluctant but later on, he went and apologised to the son-in-law and he received his healing. When the light of the Spirit shines upon you, it will expose you to areas you need to restitute. It will show you the crooked paths to be straightened so that you can truly prepare for the return of Jesus Christ.
KeyPoint
For some ailments to go, restitution is the only medicine.

Types of Readings 1. Skimming To skim in reading means to look at briefly. Skimming involves the act of the book or page quickly in order to have a general idea of the content. The purpose of skimming is to identify information in its broad from quickly. 2. Skimming a Text The text may be a chapter of a book or just a page. The purpose here is to look for what it contains briefly. You may look at the title of the chapter to see what topic is discussed in that chapter. Then you read through to see if the chapter is divided into sections and whether each section has a sub-title or sub-topic discussed. You check the end of the of the chapter is given. If the chapter is presented in continuous paragraphs without labelled subsections, you look at the opening sentence of each paragraph to have a general impression of what the paragraph deals with. If there is a summary, you look at the beginning and end sentence of the summary. By the time you do these activities, you are skimming. At the end of the skimming activities on the text, you should be able to say in one or two sentences what the chapter or page about. This will be able you to decide whether you need its detailed information or not. Here are 'examples of skimming activities: •Mma wants to buy only one newspaper and she stops the vendor who puts three different newspapers in her hand Mma opens each newspaper quickly and skims its pages, looking news headlines. A news item in one of the papers attracts her but it contains a long detailed report. She chooses to buy the paper and returns the others to the vendor.

Adulugwa is a student visiting a book shop. He looks through the shelves of books 'displayed. He comes to the Economics section and skims the titles. One title reminds him of the list of recommended books from the lecturer. His purpose is to decide whether the book is relevant to his course. That purpose required him to look for the following information from the book: _ ii. Author – is he a familiar authority on the subject? – Year of publication – could its information be outdated or recent? – Edition – is this copy the latest edition?- Table of contents – what are the topics not listed in the table of content? – Adulugwa selects some randomly pages – to see If there are useful Illustrations – A few sentences from the preface to see if the author indicates the level of readers or students for whom the book is intended. Finally, Adulugwa skelling may decide to buy the book or leave it, on the strength of the information he has had by skimming the book. Note that again knowledge by skimming books at bookshops, newspapers and magazine stands. Scanning To scan in reading is to look for a specific information discussed in a text with minimum of time. Before you set out to scan a text, you must be sure what items of information you are looking for. Scanning requires rapid reading of the text in order to reach the information you require. In this way, it is possible for you to assemble a number of points you need about a given topic. For example, if you require the definition of inflation in economics, you can scan three or four different books to see how each, author defines it. In this case, you are not looking for the consequences of inflation but – the definition. You do not stay your eyes on that information when you are scanning definition. Scanning is like looking for your child in a large crowd. You watch out for your child’s features. You do not see other children’s faces at that moment. To help the reader to scan easily, authors usually present texts in certain patterns. Examples of such patterns are: -- Text contents are organized in paragraphs, each paragraph deals with an aspect of the topic discussed. In a paragraph, one of the sentences usually gives out the main point of the paragraph. Varying of font size e.g, some are in italics or bold letters to direct attention to important points. Varying of colours, letters and diagrams in a piece of advertisement in such a way that some parts catch the eye of the reader before other parts.

HONOUR GOD

HONOUR GOD

Ephesians 6:1-3 commands children not only to obey but also to honour their parents. If you know how to honour your daddy, that attitude will see you through certain storms of life. Not many believers know the full value of the giving of first fruits. Proverbs 3:8-9 says you should honour God, who is the Father of fathers with your first fruits. Many pastors know how to collect it but not how to give it. When the high priest was dressed in filthy garment and Satan was standing by his right hand to accuse him, who rescued him? It was God. The only individual who decides the winner or loser in any given battle is God. No wonder it was said in 1 Samuel 2:9 that we cannot prevail by physical strength. Remember that God is the One who gives dreams and also the One who can help you to realise them. If God is with you, it does not matter how many the opposing forces are; you shall prevail. This was why Joseph saw offending God as a great sin against God. One thing that keeps me from sinning is not punishment from man but from God.
Do you honour God with your first fruits? Your first salary on a new Job is your first fruits. So also is your first profit on a new business. It is also the difference between your old salary and the new salary when you are promoted or given a salary raise. Similarly, your first salary in a particular year can be your first fruits. First fruits is to be paid 100%. In the case of a salary increase, if you received a raise from 50,000 to 75,000, you will be expected to pay tithe on the 50,000 former salary, but you will also have to pay the 25,000 difference between both old and new salaries as your first fruits. Do this and God will cause your storehouses to be filled with plenty.
ActionPoint
One obligation you owe God for being Your creator and God is honour. To what extent are you honouring Him?

Creative Miracle 2

The God that we serve exists from eternity to eternity. He created the universe and the creatures in them and apportioned time for them. However this God does not exist in space and time. Whatever He had done before, He can do again as many times as He needs to. Hebrews 13:8 says,
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
He heals instantly and He heals progressively, some healings are repairs and for those body parts that are beyond repairs, He replaces. According to your needs for healing, the Lord will visit you today! In John 9:1-7, the Lord gave the man who was born blind brand new eyes. That is a creative miracle! In Genesis 18:9-14, when Sarah's womb was dead, He gave her a brand new womb. Take the example of the raising of the dead like that of Lazarus recorded in John 11:39-44. The truth is, for a dead man, everything in his body is dead and meant to decompose. So when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, it was more than just bringing him back to life. He had to perform a lot of creative miracles in him – in his flesh that had decayed, in his blood that had turned black, in his brain that had melted. He recreated every part of him.
A young child developed a growth in the brain and she was taken to India for a brain surgery. But after the surgery, the child could not walk again. Her mother brought her to the camp during one of our programmes, and the Lord said somebody was getting a brand new brain. The Lord gave the girl a new brain. A lady who had many fibroids had her womb removed in the process of treatment. Later, she came for me to pray on the anointing oil she brought so that the Lord will give her another womb. She continued to rub her stomach with this, and God gave her a new womb and she had her baby. In the name of Jesus, receive your creative miracle now. That part of your body that is dead, I command it to be replaced. Every missing cell organ that is needed for you to live well is restored now in Jesus name.

A VITAL TOOL FOR SUCCESS

A VITAL TOOL FOR SUCCESS
Many people nations and individuals have been relegated to the background because of the mistake they made in taking the right decision for their lives. Today, we have seen some teenagers who are into crime, some imprisons while some meet their untimely death. Why? Because they have taken wrong decision in their lives. Based on this, I deem it fit this year to counsel you on the need for teenage.
Decision: a vital tool for success’ two words emerge and they are teenage and success.
Who is teenager? And what is success? Why is decision a vital tool for their lives? Teenager is the age between adolescent and adulthood, while success could be seen a as the attempted to do. In other words it means plan or an attempt that yields good result.
Why decision a vital tool? Decision is a vital tool in life that everybody has at one time or the other made use of either consciously or unconsciously, we make decision every day that determine what our life becomes if we must get what we need out of life and not life giving us what it has, then decision is very essential “tool” that must be handled cleverly.
Therefore, it is imperative tolerate that life as a teenager is not the plan, it is the planning, it is time for preparation, it is time to face the challenges of life, It is important to handle that the teenager several decision. Recognizing these certain vital points are necessary in making decision.
Who are you?
What is your responsibility?
And your family responsibility?
Your values, the thing that is important to you.
A prosper knowledge of these will help you to influence your decision and choices.
At this juncture, my advice to the reader is to allow the holy- spirit to lead them in whatever decision they interred to embark on. The holy-spirit is the spirit that can’t lie.

WHAT IS LIFE

WHAT IS LIFE
LIFE is that everyone defines life the way he or she sees it. Life is whatever you call it. To you, life may be sweet, to me life may be bitter and to someone else, life may be bitter sweet, so whatever side life turn to you, make a worth living. You need to understand the different sets of humans on earth because, if you do, there is no need for you to worry about people’s stupidity or foolishness.
You count every act as normal nothing really impresses you and nothing catches you by surprise in life you need to live like you don’t care because if you try to care people will exploit that opportunity to make you feel bad. In order to avoid that, don’t show it if you are angry or sad. Always put on a smiling face and live life is so easy and sweet.
Whatsoever side life turns to you don’t allow it to affect your love for other. Even though life is bitter, you have got to have someone that will ease your burden and make you happy.
Life is love and love is life. You have got to express your feelings and live happily, care for your loved ones and everyone around you.
Doing everything with God’s guidance makes you happy with whatever you are and whatever you are living on.
Though, there are obstacle and problems in life, don’t worry about them because they are inevitable natural phenomenon which make you sad so that you can become stronger. Also remembering how to overcome problem brings you smile and relief. It makes you peaceful with yourself.

Benefits of Music in Child Development

Benefits of Music in Child Development
Singing and music play an important role in our culture. You’ll find music present in many aspects of our lives: theater, television, movies, worship, holidays, celebrations, and government and military ceremonies. At home, music can become part of our family culture – a natural part of our everyday experiences.
From birth, parents instinctively use music to calm and soothe children, to express their love and joy, and to engage and interact. Parents can build on these natural instincts by learning how music can impact child development, improve social skills, and benefit kids of all ages.
In addition to the developmental benefits of music, why is music important? Simply put, it provides us with joy. Just think about listening to a good song on the car radio with the window down on a beautiful day. That’s joy.

Music Games for Kids of All Ages

Children of all ages express themselves through music. Playing music for infants proves that, even at an early age, children sway, bounce, or move their hands in response to music they hear. Many preschoolers make up songs and, with no self-consciousness, sing to themselves as they play. Children in elementary school learn to sing together as a group and possibly learn to play a musical instrument. Older children dance to the music of their favorite bands and use music to form friendships and share feelings. Try these activities and games with your children to experience the pleasure and learning that music brings.
Infants and Music. Infants recognize the melody of a song long before they understand the words. They often try to mimic sounds and start moving to the music as soon as they are physically able. Quiet, background music can be soothing for infants, especially at sleep time. Loud background music may overstimulate an infant by raising the noise level of the room. Sing simple, short songs to infants in a high, soft voice. Try making up one or two lines about bathing, dressing, or eating to sing to them while you do these activities.
Toddlers and Music. Toddlers love to dance and move to music. The key to toddler music is the repetition of songs, which encourages the use of words and memorization. Silly songs make them laugh. Try singing a familiar song and inserting a silly word in the place of the correct word, like “Mary had a little spider” instead of lamb. Let them reproduce rhythms by clapping or tapping objects.
Preschoolers and Music. Preschoolers enjoy singing just to be singing. They aren’t self-conscious about their ability and most are eager to let their voices roar. They like songs that repeat words and melodies, use rhythms with a definite beat, and ask them to do things. Preschool children enjoy nursery rhymes and songs about familiar things like toys, animals, play activities, and people. They also like finger plays and nonsense rhymes with or without musical accompaniment.
School-Age Children and Music. Most young school-age children are intrigued by kids’ singalong songs that involve counting, spelling, or remembering a sequence of events. School-age children begin expressing their likes and dislikes of different types of music. They may express an interest in music education, such as music lessons for kids.
Teenagers and Music. Teenagers may use musical experiences to form friendships and to set themselves apart from parents and younger kids. They often want to hang out and listen to music after school with a group of friends. Remember those days of basement and garage bands? They often have a strong interest in taking music lessons or playing in a band.

Although a good dose of Mozart is probably not increasing our brain power, it’s enjoyable and beautiful. From the pure pleasure of listening to soothing sounds and rhythmic harmonies, to gaining new language and social skills, whatever the setting – a quiet room at home with family, a large grassy field filled with people, or a busy classroom – music can enliven and enrich the lives of children and the people who care for them.

Creative Miracle

There are categories of healing. Some healings are gradual. In Luke 17:11-14, some lepers met the Lord and He asked them to go and show themselves to the priests and as they went, they received their healing. Some healings can be instantaneous. We see an example of this in Matthew 8:1-3, where a leper met the Lord and confessed his faith in His ability to heal but doubted if the Lord was willing. Jesus touched him and immediately he was healed. Some healings come in form of repairs. Mark 3:1-5 talks about a man with a withered hand. When he encountered the Lord and was healed, his hand was restored like the other hand. However, occasionally, there are situations beyond repairs. In today's reading, the subject of the miraculous event did not go blind but was born blind, so there was nothing to be repaired. For him to receive sight at all, he needed a creative miracle. When a part of your car cannot be repaired, it is replaced. God is the One who originally created you and so if there is anything that cannot be repaired in your body, God will replace it. In Malachi 3:6, He says,
“For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”
Hebrews 13:8 further says He is the same in spite of the transient nature of the universe. This means whatever He has done before, He can do again. If He created you, He can also repair any of your body parts. Every car manufacturer equally has spare parts. Without spare parts, no car manufacturer can stay in business. Occasionally, some people import uncommon cars. Sometimes, the one who brought in the car may be the only one in a town, city or country to have that car, at least for a period. In those days, such cars are called 'One in town'. The owners of such cars are very proud as it makes them unique among others - a symbol of class. However, the pain of such luxury is that when a little part needs replacement, it will take time to import the spare part. In some cases, the car may have to be sent back to the manufacturer for repairs. Thank God your body has spares with God. Go ahead and ask for a creative miracle today!

Father, any part of my body that is beyond repair, please replace it today by Your mercy.

DESTROYED THE LIFE BY HIS HAND

DESTROYED THE LIFE BY HIS HAND
This title is the message that illustrated a family.  This family,  contains father and the children. There father travel to outside the country for work.
The children waited for some many years,  but they didn't see any body that resembles their father.
On faithful day,  after waiting for their father for so many years.  They heard about their father,  when they see the message.  The bag contains many things,  including breads.  But his  children didn't look onto the bag very well.  As soon they saw bread,  they leave the bag and they blamed their father for do that,  don't forget I said that bag contains many things,  like money, and Visa to travel.
In continuing with my story,  this children hid the bag.  On one faithful day,  One beggar is passing and this children call him and handle the bag to him.  The beggar go on his way after collected the bag. The children continue to abuse their father,  that he just gave them bread.
When the beggar got home,  he found money,  bread and VISA to travel.
The beggar didn't know how to use the Visa,  but he eat the bread and take all the money and start his own business.
After so many years,  the father of this children decided to go home because he didn't see the reply of his children.  Because he thinks that,  they supposed to come by now.  He back to home one day.
When the man got home,  he told them that. I waited for you to come and meet me,  but I don't see you,  or you don't see my message.  One of the children said,  sir we see it,  but what do you want us to do with bread?  Can bread gave us money to travel to you?  Their father said not only the bread is in the bag,  the money and the VISA for you to travel to meet me.  When they heard this,  they start crying.  Their father said you have destroyed your life by your own hand.
Thanks

Egg IS AN EGG

An  egg  is  an  egg  until  it  hatches.
And  then  it  is  a  chick.
A  branch  is  a  branch  until  it  breaks.
And  then  it  is  a  stick.
Nothing  stays  the  same.
Everything  can  change.
A  seed  is  a  seed  until  it  is  sown.
And then  it  is  a  flower.
A  block  is  a  block  until  there  are  many.
And  then  they  become  a  tower.
 Nothing  stays  the  same.
Everything  can  change.
Water  is  water  until  it  is  brewed.
